SPECIFICATION FOR ANGLE IRON FENCING POLES

1. Scope: This specification covers the requirements for two types of angle iron fencing Poles:

• 1. Straight type
• 2. Bend type

3. LOCATION OF HOLES:

Holes of 10mm dia shall be drilled as per the locations given below. The location of holes shall be measured from the top along the length of pole. These holes are suitably slotted from the edges to fit/inset barbed wire.

4. OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• The poles shall be split 4" from bottom
• Length of bend portion shall be 18" for 6' & 9' bend type of poles, and 12" for 11' 10" poles. The angle of bend shall be 45deg. and identical in all pieces.
• Tolerance on weight shall be + 5% -3%
• The pole shall be painted with two coats of red oxide paint.
